Meet Connie Suss.

As Founder (along with Mary Jane Van de Castle and Cathy Bentley in 1988), Connie brings a unique brand of passion and wow! to the industry. Hailing from midwestern, small-town roots, she grew up with a competitive spirit, eye for fashion and passion for learning. Both her mother and father were teachers, instilling the importance of education—which is foundational to her business. “Giving my staff opportunities to learn and grow is paramount,” says Connie. “The only way to evolve on both an individual level and team level is to get comfortable with the uncomfortable.”
With over 40 years of experience, she continues to collaborate with top-industry professionals and attends national and international events. Now sole owner (in 2011), bijin has been recognized multiple times—locally and nationally, which makes her very proud. She’s also proud to offer her employees full benefits which is unique to the industry.
Connie loves to travel with her husband, Greg, whether it’s camping in the great outdoors or splurging in the big metropolitan cities. A foodie for sure and lover of animals, she and Greg currently share their home with golden retriever, Daisy and cat, JoJo.
