With two aunts in the business, Makenna naturally inherited a love of hair and helping people look and feel their best! She earned her cosmetology degree as well as her cosmetology instructor’s certification from Vatterott College in her hometown of Joplin, Missouri. While completing the bijin advanced education program she attended the Wella color bleach and tone workshop, an Oribe hands-on class, and many product knowledge classes.
Makenna loves making clients feel good about themselves and is not afraid to take on a challenge. She especially loves helping clients get back to their natural color, if desired—even if it is gray!
Fun fact: “Thomas Jefferson is my 8th Great Grandfather!”
