Heather, an Army Veteran, comes to bijin after studying massage at the Body, Mind, Spirit Institute in Overland Park and practicing as a massage therapist for 16 years. Later, she studied Nail Technology at KCCC in 2011-12 and became the winner of the Grand Prize in an OPI International contest for nail design.
Heather stays on top of current trends in all aspects of nail technology. She strives to modify her approach depending on the client’s needs, desire and personal style: “I want nails that, when held together, create an epic tapestry of adventure!”
Fun fact: “I was one of the few women in the Army Honor Guard at Fort Meade — and twirled the M14 rifle.”
